Step 1: Install the Taption Premiere Pro Plugin


First, download and install the Taption Premiere Pro plugin. You can install it directly from Adobe Exchange: Install the Taption Premiere Pro plugin now.


After installation, open Premiere Pro, sign in to your Taption account, and you’re ready to go.






Step 2: Select the Audio or Video You Want to Transcribe


Prepare the media you want to process in your Premiere Pro project:


  • Create a new project or open an existing one
  • Import your video or audio clips into the project




Step 3: Upload to Taption for Speech Recognition


Select the audio or video clip to transcribe, click Upload, set the video language, and submit. Taption uses AI speech-to-text to recognize speech quickly—so you can start transcription without leaving Premiere Pro.





Step 4: Click “Edit Transcript” to Edit and Refine Captions
